Visit Anaheim Realigns Sales Team to Better Serve Customers

Based on market demands and the speed of business, we have created a new position and realigned staff members to better serve Visit Anaheim customers.

Among these changes is the creation of a new convention sales manager position that focuses on mid-sized conventions. This addition allows the entire Visit Anaheim team to devote additional time to assist customers and fully understand their business needs. 

Julia O’Brien – Convention Sales Manager

Visit Anaheim’s Julia O’Brien has moved into a new position working with all mid-sized convention customers.  This new position is a key addition for the Visit Anaheim convention sales team, allowing for a deeper reach into customer needs with more personalized service.  Julia has been with Visit Anaheim since 2008 and previously served the organization’s East Coast clients.

Julie Rice - Convention Sales Director, Eastern Region

With Visit Anaheim since 2016, Julie Rice was promoted to convention sales director, eastern region. In this role, she works with convention customers in the eastern region to customize their Anaheim experience and enhance their attendee experience. Prior to this promotion, Julia served East Coast customers as a meetings sales manager.  

Brooke Newton - Meeting Sales Manager, Eastern Region

Brooke Newton has joined the Visit Anaheim team as meeting sales manager, eastern region.  Based in the DC metro area, Brooke is working with customers in Washington DC and the eastern region whose meetings are in need of Orange County’s diverse hotels and meeting facilities rather than the Anaheim Convention Center. Brooke has more than 11 years of meeting and event experience, previously working with the Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau, Visit Alexandria, University of Louisville and the United States Navy.
