Visit Anaheim Launches New Video Series to Educate Residents and Partners During Challenging Times
Short Format Videos to Provide Timely Destination and Industry Updates
ANAHEIM, Calif. (Aug. 13, 2020) ― Visit Anaheim, the official destination marketing organization for Anaheim, today launched “Visit Anaheim Destination Update,” a new video series to educate both residents and partners on destination and industry news during these uncharted times.
Featuring Visit Anaheim’s president and CEO, Jay Burress, the “Visit Anaheim Destination Update” will be released on a weekly basis. In a world that is changing so quickly, these video updates are visually driven and easily digestible for those who are interested in keeping up to date on the tourism and hospitality industry.
“Visit Anaheim is often the eyes and ears for our residents and partners when it comes to staying up-to-date on travel industry trends,” said Charles Harris, chief marketing officer and executive vice president public affairs, Visit Anaheim. “As a trusted source for our community, this video series is a way for us to stay in touch with key stakeholders while also providing timely news that may impact their business.”
The first “Visit Anaheim Destination Update” video is now available on Visit Anaheim’s YouTube channel and discusses the importance of safe and responsible travel, the recent opening of Modern Times Leisuretown as well as local staycation trends.
These new video updates are an extension of Visit Anaheim’s recent and successful town hall “Road to Recovery Series.” Comprised of three unique segments, the town hall virtual events were made available to all Visit Anaheim partners and provided in-depth updates on the organization’s recovery plans for sales, marketing and the destination.
