October 27, 2016 (Anaheim) – An all-new annual holiday exhibition will deck the halls of Muzeo Museum from November 12, 2016 through January 8, 2017. Muzeo Express: Holiday Model Trains is jointly presented by the Toy Train Operating Society and Train Collectors Association, the former creators of the Nixon Library display. It includes themed layouts such as Thomas the Train, California landmarks and a vintage department store window.
“Muzeo Express is sure to delight children and enthusiasts alike, and we’re excited to establish this exhibition as a holiday tradition,” says Executive Director Dan Finley.
The public opening on Saturday, November 12 from 1-4pm will include trackless train rides and other family activities. The media preview will be held on Friday, November 11 from noon-5pm.
Additional holiday programming includes Polar Express Pajama Parties on December 2 and 10, as well as a Holiday Tea & Celtic Christmas Show performed by Tin Box Theatricals on December 4. The Main Gallery is also available for holiday party rentals set among the model trains.
Exhibition admission is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, $6 for ages 4–12, and free for children 3 and under. Tickets are available for purchase at www.muzeo.org. Muzeo Express is sponsored by Metrolink, Freeman, Visit Anaheim and the City of Anaheim.
