ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club will hold its 2018 Rookie Camp at THE RINKS – Anaheim ICE from Sept. 6-7. The Ducks also released their 28-player roster that will participate in the 2018 Rookie Faceoff in Las Vegas with the host Vegas Golden Knights, Arizona Coyotes, Colorado Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings and San Jose Sharks from Sept. 8-11.
Anaheim’s 2018 Rookie Camp will feature a pair of on-ice sessions at Anaheim ICE on Thursday, Sept. 6 (1:30 p.m. PT) and Friday, Sept. 7 (10 a.m. PT). All Anaheim ICE practices will be open to the public and free of charge. The 2018 Rookie Camp roster features 17 forwards, eight defensemen and three goaltenders. There are 20 Anaheim draft selections and four first-round picks on the roster, including defenseman Jacob Larsson (27th overall in 2015), centers Sam Steel (30th overall in 2016) and Isac Lundestrom (23rd overall in 2018), and left wing Max Jones (24th overall in 2016).
The Ducks rookies begin their three-game tournament schedule on Saturday, Sept. 8 vs. the Kings (5 p.m. PT). Anaheim will continue tournament play on Sunday, Sept. 9 against Colorado (5 p.m. PT) before concluding its schedule vs. Arizona on Tuesday, Sept. 11 (11 a.m. PT). Monday, Sept. 10 is scheduled as a practice day for the Ducks. All games will be played at City National Arena, located at 1550 South Pavilion Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89135.
