Your Guide to Summer Fun in Anaheim and Orange County!

Catch a wave of summertime fun in Anaheim, California. Your days will be filled with sunshine at our Orange County beaches or amazing amusement parks and your evenings cultured by community events and presentations of the arts. It’s a great season to be in Anaheim.

The Disneyland Resort

Pixar Fest celebrates friendship and beyond! The very first Pixar-themed celebration kicked off this spring with themed food options, merchandise and decor. You don't want to miss the updated parades, Pixar Play Parade and Paint the Night Parade, with the inclusion of floats featuring characters from films like Up and The Incredibles. There’s magic until the very last moment in the park with Together Forever -- A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular.  In addition to amazing pyrotechnics, a new soundtrack and incredible projection display make for an immersive and heartwarming show.

The fun continues with the opening of Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park this summer. The updated boardwalk area brings four themed Disney/Pixar “neighborhoods” together. You’ll feel "super" after riding the reimagined Incredicoaster and Jessie’s Critter Carousel. Grab a "It's Lemon!" Soft-Serve cone at Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats or a cinnamon treat at Senor Buzz’s Churros. The fan favorite Lobster Nachos will be served at the Lamplight Lounge, previously the Cove Bar. With themed attractions, dining and boardwalk games, Pixar Pier brings beloved characters to the parks permanently.

Knott’s Berry Farm

Ride the wave on HangTime, the first and only dive coaster in California. The newest coaster at Knott's Berry Farm features surf-themed decor and joins the Boardwalk area of the park. Surfers will climb over 150 feet in the air to hang at the crest before zooming through multiple gravity-defying inversions.

HangTime isn’t the only drop in town. Open select days mid-May through September, Knott’s Soak City delights guests with 15-acres of water slides and wave pools. Try the aqua launch chamber where the ground drops out from underneath you or The Wedge, an open-air raft ride for up to six riders.

If staying dry is more your speed, shout “Eureka!” and check out Ghost Town Alive. The immersive role playing experience brings the Calico area of the park to life. Guests to the park can alter the storyline that plays out all summer long.
