THE RANCH Restaurant & Saloon is the brainchild and dream of Southern-born and bred Andrew Edwards, owner of Orange County's Extron Electronics. The Restaurant and Saloon are next door to each other but are two separate sister venues that operate independently of one another. The Restaurant has an understated elegance with beautiful touches of dark wood, stunning light fixtures and decor like old leather belts on the floor. Produce used in their seasonally-focused menu is grown at their farm located in the foothills of the Santa Ana mountains.

Know Before You Go

2016 Award Nominee: THE RANCH was recently nominated for a Golden Foodies Award ("Considered to be the Oscars® of food with the fun of the Golden Globes®") as the "Best American Cuisine."

Price range: $6 for appetizers; $35+ for main dishes.

Type of Food: American regional cuisine that honors California's vast ranches, farms and dairies, artisan bread bakers and cheese and wine makers. The menu emphasizes farm-to-table freshness with organically grown fruits and vegetables from local farms, as well as the restaurant's ranch own ranch.
Atmosphere/Attire: Elegant to casual (but not too casual). Strapping on your line dance boots? Check the saloon's dress code policy.
Kid-friendly? Yes. They have a children's menu that includes kid favorites such as pasta, grilled cheese sandwiches, hamburgers, "small" fillet of beef, hand-battered chicken tenders and fish and chips.

Deviled Eggs

The deviled eggs with faint pickle relish and thin bacon strips are heavenly. Choose from sweet pickle relish or smoked bacon.

Colorado-Grass Fed Lamb Chops

One of our favorites, these grass-fed lamb chops are always perfectly tender. 

Laura Chenel Goat Cheese Ravioli

Heavy on flavor, particularly the subtle covering of scarlet red beets, golden raisins, toasted walnuts and Valencia orange slivers
