Movies Under the Moon at City National Grove of Anaheim
Buckle up for drive-in fun in Anaheim! Unique entertainment offerings allow socially distanced screenings of favorite films and tunes at the City National Grove of Anaheim.
Drive into family-friendly fun at the City National Grove of Anaheim with Movies Under the Moon, presented by Moonlight Events Orange County. There will be two showings on Friday, July 3 from the comfort of your personal vehicle. The carpool cinema will feature Shrek at 7:20 PM (doors opening at 6:00 PM) and Independence Day at 10:30 PM (doors at 9:45 PM).
Each parked vehicle also receives access to the adjoining spot, perfect for setting-up chairs to enjoy the 50-foot video screen. Tickets start at $25 per vehicle, plus $9.50 per person. No box office will be available on-site, so take advantage of contactless ticketing at AXS.com. Snack and meal kits are available to pre-order with tickets, plus concessions will be sold digitally and delivered to your car during the fun. A virtual restroom queue will be used to allow safe distancing.

Andrew McMahon Takes the Stage
Celebrating the 15th anniversary of Jack’s Mannequin’s “Everything in Transit,” singer-songwriter Andrew McMahon will be performing nightly at 7:00 PM July 10-12. The show will include the album in its entirety, plus selections from Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness and his pop-punk band Something Corporate.
Through the Mixhalo app, attendees can tune in through their cell phones, car radio, or Bluetooth speakers.
Tickets range from $200-$350 per vehicle at AXS.com. Tickets for the live stream on Saturday, July 11 are available for $20, up until showtime. Fans who purchase a ticket will receive an access code to watch the concert live at 8:00 PM (PDT). The stream will be accessible for 48 hours at the start of the event. A portion of the live stream proceeds will benefit McMahon’s Dear Jack Foundation.
Common Kings Headline Two Shows
Grammy-nominated Orange County reggae band Common Kings will headline two evenings at City National Grove of Anaheim’s Drive-In OC series July 17-18.
Tickets are $200-$350 and go on sale at 10:00 AM Friday, July 3 at AXS.com. Price is by vehicle, and both shows begin at 7:00 PM.
Common Kings hail from Costa Mesa and its debut album, “Lost in Paradise” was nominated in the best reggae album category at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards in 2017. The band is influenced by a variety of artists including Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, The Who, Gypsy Kings, Bob Marley, and Earth Wind and Fire. Common Kings have also been tapped to support major acts like Bruno Mars, Meghan Trainor, and Justin Timberlake.
