Jay Burress, President & CEO of Visit Anaheim

What I love most about Anaheim is that awe-inspired expression on a first-time visitor's face. It's the same look I saw on my daughter's face when I took her to the Disneyland Resort for the first time. It's that pure glee that is brought out in all of us by the city's creativity, energy and excitement.

Caroline Beteta, President and CEO of Visit California

I grew up in Orange County and experienced firsthand how much Anaheim has to offer. With amazing theme parks, world-class shopping, unbeatable weather and an incredible community spirit, Anaheim truly offers the California experience. And the beach is just a few miles away!

Dennis Kuhl, Chairman, AngelsBaseball

The Angels organization is proud to call such a great community our home. The team currently features some of the most exciting players in baseball, including two-time A.L. MVP Mike Trout, the 2018 A.L. Rookie of the Year Shohei Ohtani and future Hall of Famer Albert Pujols. For over 50 years, we have enjoyed our role in making an impact in our surrounding Southern California communities both on and off the field. The AngelsBaseball Foundation supports various local charitable organizations and community groups and it is always rewarding to help make a positive impact.

Linda Sadeghi, Co-Owner, Anaheim Packing District

We LOVE Anaheim, the ever-changing epicenter of Orange County with its rich agricultural history and mosaic of cultural diversity; all in all weaving an American story.

Mike Crea, Owner, Unsung Brewing Company

What I love about Anaheim is the community. We are fortunate to be located in such a diverse and family-oriented community! Anaheim continues to bring life into a city that has basically been a sleeping giant for too long.

Greg and Barbara Gerovac, Proprietors and Brewers at Anaheim Brewery

We love Anaheim because it has a peculiar kind of energy. It’s a big city that feels and acts like a small town; it has residents who feel deeply about their hometown and millions of visitors who are excited to be here. Anaheim is a city that’s filled with a unique creative energy. It’s a fantastic place to live, work and visit.

Anaheim represents the 4C’s that is the foundation of our organization, Community, Culture, Commerce, and Consciousness. It’s like the country of Singapore, its diversification of communities and rich cultures are unparalleled in Orange County.

Emily Sims, Founder, Magic Kingdom Mamas

I love Anaheim because it’s home to a place my family and I have made countless memories at — The Happiest Place on Earth! I will forever be grateful for Walt Disney’s dream that came to life in this wonderful city.

Greg Nagel, Food and beverage writer, OC Weekly and long-time Anaheim resident

I love Anaheim’s rich history stemming from wine grapes back in the 1800’s. The beer makers of today are building on that foundation, creating some of the world’s best beers. Will someone a hundred years from now geek out on that? I sure hope so.

Kevin Kidney & Jody Daily, Artists and Theme Park/Entertainment Designers

There are so many things that make Anaheim special, from our world-renowned hospitality to the dynamic diversity of Anaheim’s people and cultures, and hometown traditions like the Anaheim Fall Festival and Halloween Parade that we host every year. Our downtown historic district has vibrant landmarks of the past, like the Anaheim Packing House (a former Sunkist warehouse), the Anaheim Brewery, and our residential neighborhoods with well-preserved old homes. We enjoy many beautiful parks, including the terrific Anaheim Coves for bike-riding and running. And for us locals, one of the perks is being able to see Disneyland reworks from practically anywhere. Anaheim is a creative and charming place, and we love it here.

Ferdinand Gil, Senior Sales Manager – Complex Hilton Worldwide Company Doubletree And Embassy Suites Anaheim Orange County

I love Anaheim as this is where I grew up and have seen such a tremendous transformation through the years. There are limitless possibilities in this city. I love food and there are so many places to eat and the choices keep piling up, it’s a foodies playground. This city is such a melting pot of diversity and one is free to be an individual and not have to meet a specific demographic to fit in.

Rod Hurt, General Manager, Red Lion Hotel Anaheim Resort

Anaheim has always been a great destination to work in due to the multi-dimensional approach it takes in attracting visitors to the area. It certainly helps being home to the dreams of Walt Disney, but add to that two world championship professional sports teams, the Angels and the Ducks. Everyone enjoys the fine selections we offer for dining and shopping, whether our guests are here for leisure or attending an event in our first class convention center. Most importantly for me, our hotel community includes professionals who are dedicated to preserving the city’s rich history as well as preparing it for its future.

Carrie Marshall-Alen, Director of Sales, Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance

I love Anaheim because there is always something to do no matter how old you are – concerts, amusements parks, eateries, museums, escape rooms, bowling, zoo, movies and so much more! I have worked in Anaheim for over 20 years – BUT – I have played here for over 45 years!

Jane K. Newell, Heritage Services Manager, Public Library

I love the rich and unique history of the city of Anaheim and the fascinating, sometimes hidden, historic gems that have been preserved. These include the Peralta Adobe, the Mother Colony and Woelke-Stofel Houses at Founders’ Park, the Anaheim Heritage Center, the Pressel citrus grove and the Anaheim Packing House, the city’s four historic districts, and the Phillip Stanton Mansion (now Fairmont Preparatory Academy), just to name a few.

Justin Petruccelli, Content Development Coordinator, Anaheim Resort Transportation

I love living in Anaheim because it’s never quite the same place on the same day and yet it’s anchored in the kinds of deep traditions that we can all be proud of. It’s the perfect mix of big city and small town. It attracts visitors from all over the world, but at the same time, provides so many distinct and wonderful experiences for its locals, who also come from many different backgrounds and cultures. Anaheim never stops growing or expanding but does so in a way that’s reflective of the city’s unique and progressive personality.

Charlie Reeves, CTA, Senior Sales Manager, Hilton Anaheim

I was born in Anaheim, have lived and worked here most of my life and hope to keep working and living here for years to come. I love many things about this city – the walkable convention center campus, the continued growth and enhancement of unique food and beverage options for locals and visitors but what I love the most is the people. So many of us in the community have worked here for decades and it is a joy to see several of the same enthusiastic people thriving in and supporting this fantastic destination. Other hospitality professionals come and go in other cities, but not in Anaheim, a city like none other that binds people together for generations.
