Opened by four college students in the 70s, Rutabegorz maintains the laid-back hippie vibes with an eclectic vegetarian-friendly menu featuring gigantic salads, sandwiches and coffee drinks. Ruta’s, as the locals call it, will also send a Garlic Chicken Salad to your table in a mixing bowl filled with seasoned chicken, candied walnuts, avocado and house-made balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

Hop on over to the Hopscotch Tavern in Downtown Fullerton located near the train station. You’ll engineer a great evening with 140 varieties of whisky and 80 types of craft beer available. Head over during Social Hour, 3-6 PM Monday through Friday and all-day Sunday, for discounted drinks and a special menu of appetizers like the Hopscotch Poutine.
A speak-easy worth yelling about is Tribune in Fullerton. The prohibition-era styling brings something new to the table with finely-crafted concoctions.

A beloved treasure in the suburban neighborhoods of Fullerton is the Fullerton Loop. The miles of mountain bike and pedestrian trails are perfect for strolls through wooded areas and alongside lakes. As the trails do intersect neighborhoods, there’s ample parking available.
