SUMMARY

Responsible for coordinating, implementing and tracking tourism marketing programs and events designed to increase traffic, sales and positive public relations.  Responsibilities include marketing operations/execution and project coordination, tourism in-market liaise with key hospitality partners, and VIP/group arrangements for industry clientele.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with International Sales & Marketing Director to develop and implement tourism programs, events, promotions and international public relations efforts to drive tourism traffic and sales to Center.

Marketing Operations and Project Coordination

Group & Reseller reservations set up/tracking

Client Brand Asset Liaise with Tourism Resellers

Tourism Collateral Development Liaise

Tourism MICE and Special Events Coordinator

Contract Tourism Resellers for Product/Packages created for Tourists

Creative Development Trafficking with Creative Agency

China Market and Office Marketing Efforts

Traffics' Centers Chinese Social Media content/program with WeChat and Weibo and China Office

Coordinates Centers' for execution of UnionPay and Others Tourism Partner programs

Liaise/Coordinator for China office needs

Tourism Customer Service In-Market/On Site

VIP Coordinator - Fams, Group Site Inspections

Assists with director, marketing team and Customer Service with VIP Lounge needs/arrangements VIP Lounge

Works with director and CS Mgr for Group bus arrival meet and greet plan and execution of Group Arrivals

In-Market Coordinator/Liaise including collateral, key contact, courtesy shuttle programs

Administrative

Budget/Reconciliation Trafficking, correct coding monthly

Monthly Reseller Reconciliation Reports

Tourism Database Management

Assists office in day to day needs of answering tourism related inquiries, client visits, marketing and management meetings and activities

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university. In lieu of a BA/BS degree, must have four or more additional years of related experience.

A minimum of five years of related experience and/or training preferred. 

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents and transactions.

Ability to effectively respond to complex issues both verbally and in writing.

Ability to make effective presentations on general topics.

Ability to inspire and motivate employees and client groups to take desired action.

Requires a high level of commitment to customer service.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Able to prepare reliable forecasts and budgets. 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to identify and analyze problems with limited information, and then recommend a resolution. 

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.   

Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Demonstrate ability to work well under pressure with a proactive approach to unusual occurrences.

Must be able to work independently and take initiative. 

Requires good organizational and leadership skills, attention to detail and openness to new ideas and procedures.

Extensive experience with MS Office applications is required.
