Kelly Charveaux was born in South Dakota near the mineral rich mines of the Black Hills. As a child she became interested in rocks and arrowheads. That interest grew to include gems and jewelry after her move to Arizona. She studied at the Gemological Institute of Art, as well as the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts. In this presentation, Kelly will discuss the unique design of silver jewelry inlayed with precious and semi-precious stones, and how she achieves visual impact within her work.
