This charity event is held on May 29th and pays tribute to the United States Marine Corps DARKHORSE Battalion. Participants can choose from a range of distances, including a kids run, 5K, 10K, or half-marathon. After the race, refuel with delicious food from local vendors, unwind at the beer garden, and rock out to music to celebrate the day.

As part of Memorial Day activities at Mission San Juan Capistrano, Homefront America's 2024 Field of Honor will be held from Tuesday, May 21, through Monday, May 27, 2024. In honor of military, veterans, first responders, including K-9 and equestrian heroes, the mission's courtyard will be transformed with a field of American flags, each standing seven feet tall in solemn formation. Members of the Mission Preservation Society, active duty military personnel, veterans, and first responders will be offered free admission during the exhibit.
