Shorts, sandals and sunglasses are always in season in Orange County, but on rare occasions—it might be time to bring the fun inside. While there are no shortage of outdoor fun for families, it can be tricky to find a creative way for children to release their excitement and energy indoors. But, don’t fret! We’re here to arm you with a variety of indoor activities that are guaranteed to keep the whole family happy and entertained.

Entertainment Centers

Billy Beez

Located inside of the Anaheim Garden Walk, Billy Beez is an indoor play place designed for kids ages 9 and under. Colorful slides, tunnels, ropes, ball pits and more fill the 26,000-square-foot play arena, opening hour possibility for kids. A ground-level area contains a small area for babies and toddlers to join in the fun. Billy Beez is equipped with free Wi-Fi to keep entertained and a snack bar is also available for hungry kids. With all of these amenities, it’s easy to see that an entire day can easily be spent here. 

Flight Deck

Experience pulse-pounding thrills by taking the stick of a fighter jet and releasing your ‘Inner Top Gun.’ Flight Deck offers such a unique experience because you’re seated in an authentic military flight simulator. Ever wondered what it's like to take the controls of a commercial airliner? Flight suits, mission briefings and more are included in the standard flight experience. For the fighter jet simulators, you can choose between a 40-minute flight plan or 3-hour flight plan (13 and older). For the commercial airliner, you can choose a 30, 60 or 90-minute package. All packages allow you to choose from thousands of real airports from around the world and fly in a variety of weather conditions using both VFR and IFR with multiple take-offs and landings. But most of all you get bragging rights!

Big Air Trampoline

Big Air is a unique trampoline fun center where kids can flip forward, backward, and off the walls—literally! Bowlmor Lanes is located in the Anaheim Gardenwalk, not far from Downtown Disney. With 32 lanes—this bowling alley is more like a “kid-at-heart” entertainment center. Bowlmor has a sports bar for adults with two flat-screen TVs and awesome drink specials. In between sets, you can play billiards and Ping-Pong. If you’re not in the mood to bowl take a stop by the restaurant with a full menu, signature cocktail, beer and wine menu.

The Discovery Cube

Discovery Cube is an indoor/outdoor museum where kids can be kids and parents can join in! Here you’ll find plenty of hands-on exhibits where kids can learn with their senses rather than seeing from a distance. The Cube also understands that while it’s good to learn about science, it’s also good to give kids topics that they want to explore like Hot Wheels® or Dora the Explorer. The Discover Cube offers so many activities that it's a great place to visit on any day.
