With just a few days left to lock down your plans for New Year's Eve—here are a few of the top events happening in Anaheim and Orange County over the New Year's Eve weekend. In keeping with tradition, OCTA will offer free rides on New Year's Eve to provide safe transportation to all. Bus lines will be free from 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016, until 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017.

Enjoy a day of rides, treats and excitement at the Disneyland Resort and stay later (than normal) for special entertainment and New Year's fireworks show. You'll have two chances to catch the splendor and eye-popping excitement—shows happen at 9:00 p.m. and midnight. Return on Jan. 5 for Three Kings Day (Dia de los Reyes) in Paradise Garden at Disney California Adventure Park, running through Jan. 8.
