Great Park Balloon Ride
Orange County Great Park is indeed a unique place to spend a day. The park is famous for its rousing rides aboard a giant tethered helium balloon that rises 400 feet above the city of Irvine. Flights take off every Thursday through Sunday, and on a clear day, you can see up to 40 miles away. After your flight, take the kids for a ride back in time on Great Park's old-style carousel.
