Spring Season Brings New Disney Experiences, Conventions & Culinary Celebrations to Anaheim

 

Anaheim, CA (March 19, 2024) – Visit Anaheim, the official destination marketing organization for Anaheim, is thrilled to unveil a captivating lineup of events taking place this Spring. From the Disneyland® Resort’s inaugural Pixar Fest to WonderCon’s return, Anaheim promises an unforgettable season of entertainment.

 

Attractions

 

The Disneyland® Resort kicks off its first-ever Pixar Fest, inviting guests to embark on a journey through beloved Pixar stories brought to life like never before. The celebration begins on April 26 and runs until August 4. From heartwarming characters to dazzling displays, this celebration promises magic for all ages.

 

Savor the flavors of California at Disney’s California Food & Wine Festival, where culinary creativity takes the center stage. Indulge in decadent dishes, fine wines, and immersive experiences that showcase the rich diversity of the Golden State’s culinary landscape. The festival goes on now until April 22.

 

Experience the force like never before at Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite on April 16, 18, 23, 25 and 30 and on May 2, 7 and 9 where fans can immerse themselves in this epic saga through special attractions, character encounters, and exclusive merchandise. Tickets are sold separately for all after-hours events.

Conventions

 

One of the country’s best comic and pop culture conventions, WonderCon, is returning to the Anaheim Convention Center on March 29 – 31. Produced by Comic-Con International, WonderCon hosts several thousand fans and industry leaders where they converge around comic-book, anime, sci-fi, film culture and cosplay, making it a must-visit event for locals and travelers.

 

For those immersed in the digital realm, VidCon makes its comeback on June 26 – 29 to the Anaheim Convention Center. This premier event brings together online content creators, industry professionals, and fans for a unique celebration of digital creativity. From meet-and-greets to workshops and performances, VidCon offers a platform for networking, learning and entertainment, unlike any other.

 

Festivals

 

Knott’s Berry Farm’s annual Boysenberry Festival takes place now until April 7, celebrating the park’s historic roots by highlighting the little berry that started it all, the boysenberry. Indulge in a tantalizing lineup of dishes ranging from savory foods, specialty desserts and drinks including a variety of wines and craft beers only found at Knott’s Berry Farm during this limited-time food inspiring event.

 

For over 60 years, the neighboring city of Garden Grove has brought the community together in celebration of the area’s prolific strawberry fields. Taking place on May 24 – 27, the legendary Strawberry Festival promises a parade with festive floats, rides, contests, games, entertainment, and strawberry themed foods for the whole family to enjoy.

 

One of the largest Japanese festivals in Orange County returns to the Anaheim STC Gardenwalk on June 21 – 23. Taste of Japan will offer several authentic Japanese foods, a beer & sake experience, pop culture, anime, cosplay, live entertainment, merchandise and much more for tourists and residents to enjoy.

 

Culinary

 

Join in celebrating a milestone with the Anaheim Packing House as it rings in its 10th anniversary as Orange County’s Original Food Hall on May 31. Now home to nearly 30 culinary artisans, the two-story foodie paradise has become a community hub over the last decade, hosting weekly live music, monthly markets, and community classes.
